Common Kestrel with lunch

The rodent looks kind of worse for wear but with young kestrels to feed a lot of mice have to be caught and brought to the nesting place. Kestrels are quite adaptable, which might be a reason why they (so far) are not on any endangered list, they like to roost in walls where stones are missing, but can also be found in church towers.
